Dua Kumayl

Join us online or in person every Thursday after maghrib prayer for a beautiful rection of Dua Kumayl with the reciter Sheikh Kassim Beydoun
Dua Kumayl is a supplication attributed to Imam Ali (AS), who taught it to his companion, Kumayl ibn Ziyad. Dua Kumayl is specifically recited for “protecting against the evil of enemies, for opening the gate of one’s daily bread, and for the forgiveness of sins.”

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِذَا نُودِىَ لِلصَّلَوٰةِ مِن يَوْمِ ٱلْجُمُعَةِ فَٱسْعَوْا۟ إِلَىٰ ذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ وَذَرُوا۟ ٱلْبَيْعَ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
O you who have believed, when [the adhan] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu’ah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew
